About Us

Welcome to Bethesda Community Church– a place to remember the love of our Savior, Jesus Christ, as He showed through His sacrifice on the cross, opening the way for our salvation. Bethesda church is purposed to help you know Christ deeply and to form a strong and loving relationship with Him based on grace – a grace that will forgive you of your sins and grant you the power of God’s Holy Spirit to live a life that will glorify Him.

Bethesda places great value on the Word of God, which we view as a centerpiece in the life of faith. The Bible tells us that it is through hearing the Word that we gain faith, allowing us to receive God’s grace, which we then share with people through fellowship and acts of service. We hope that our services and Bible studies will help the Word come alive to you, and that you may feel it near to you as God intends.

Please have a look around the rest of this website to know a little more about Bethesda, although we encourage you to visit and see for yourself what God is doing at our church!

Statement of Faith

We believe in…
The Holy Scriptures as originally given by God, divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy; and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct…
One God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit…
Our Lord Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, His virgin birth, His sinless human life, His divine miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, His mediatorial work, and His Personal return in power and glory…
The Salvation of lost and sinful man through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ by faith apart from works, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit…
The Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the believer is enabled to live a holy life, to witness and work for the Lord Jesus Christ…
The Unity of the Spirit of all true believers, the Church, the Body of Christ…
The Resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
